Event Information The Pinewood Climbs

Date: 26/10/2014

This “hill climb” specific sportive is set to be a real test for the legs. This event will really test your hill climbing ability as well as your means of recovery. We are not blessed with the steepest of hills in Norfolk – so what we like to do is – go up and down them a lot! Starting from Pinewood Park Leisure Club, we have opted for a set 30 mile loop which encompasses 10 climbs, and we will just use this loop once for the short course (30 miles), twice for the Standard Course (60 miles) and three times for the Epic Course (90 miles) …. This way we can utilise Pinewood as the feed zones for the Standard / Epic Courses as they come past.

The venue will cater to your every need – in terms of car parking, changing facilities and catering.

The route will head out into some of the glorious scenic countryside that North Norfolk coastline has to offer. You will be riding up hills such as Bard Hill, Holgate Hill, Sandy Lane Hill and Lodge Hill to name a few.

Upon completion of your effort, there will be many extras on site to ensure you have a fun memorable day, ranging from post event massage, BBQ and drinks tent (all for a small charge) as well as a decent goody bag.

Cycles UK will also be in attendance with their mechanical support stand and mini stall selling your cycling essentials.
