Have you ever wanted to do something life changing which could help save the lives of young children here in the North East? Well get on your bike this September and sign up for Hartside Hell!

Hartside Hell is set to be one hell of a tough cycle this September, with all profits going towards helping the Cash For Kids charity. The challenging 120mile sportive will start on the 27th September at the Ponteland Leisure Centre. The route will take riders west through the beautiful rolling Northumberland countryside to Chollerford. From here the route hugs the majestic Roman Wall to Brampton . It then heads south along the Eden Valley to the foot of Hartside Pass. Riders will then ascend the 2,000ft climb, rated as one of the most scenic roads in Europe. As riders crest the summit and fuel up they will follow the route eastwards back to Newcastle.

As well as individual challenge riders, we are encouraging teams to enter a relay with four pre- determined stages marked out, all with elements that will test riders physically and mentally.

Entry costs £25 per individual and £100 per team of 4 - all proceeds from these fees go to Cash for Kids. If you'd like to raise sponsorship on top of this to support local disabled and disadvantaged children give us a call on 0191 2790247 and we can provide you with sponsor forms and give advice on setting up a JustGiving page.
