About the Event

Info for Riders

RACES There will be two sessions on each race day. Session 1 will comprise of 3 skills stations. A maximum of 3 points will be available at each station. Each rider will be given a points card which will they take to each station and scores will be recorded by the judges. The XC race will be handicapped according to the scores obtained in the skills session. The time and distance of any race may be altered at the discretion of the Chief Commissaire. Skills stations will be as follows: 1. Bottle pick up  Riders must pick progressively shorter bottles up off the ground and place them on to smaller plinths.  Each zone is also failed if the bottle isn’t picked up, is dropped, or does not stay upright when placed on the target plinth, or a rider puts a foot down. 2. Plank traverse  Riders must ride along progressively narrower planks and remain within the marked area when moving from one plank to another.  Each zone is failed if either wheel slips off the side of the plank, either wheel t
