Event Overview

The Tour Ride 100 is the official sportive of The Tour of Britain and Mark Cavendish, re-launched in 2014 to have an annual focus on roads with a Tour heritage.  This October the ride will take in the Staffordshire Moorlands and the Peak District, including King of the Mountains climbs like Gun Hill, Hollinsclough Moor and Mow Cop’s Killer Mile, and the roads used by numerous Tour of Britain stages in the area.

Circular routes for both the 100-mile Pro Ride and 60-mile Challenge Ride will start and finish within the Trentham Estate, where a promotional cycle village and Trentham’s shopping village will be the focus of entertainment pre and post-ride.

Ride with Mark Cavendish on a stunning course taking in beautiful views of the surrounding country side, Starting and finishing in Staffordshire University the is a 50 and 100-mile options taking riders through the beautiful Staffordshire Moorlands and Peak District countryside, including testing climbs such as Gun Hill and Killer Mile. This will have the look and the feel of a Tour of Britain stage start or finish. The route will have three well equipped feed stations, timing chips, a KoM, massage tables, bike mechanics, sweeping vehicle and all the staff, sponsors and people that make the Tour of Britain a spectacular event.
