Event Overview
Ripped Events is organising a 250 mile (approx) charity cycle ride between Billericay (Essex) and Barry (South Wales) AKA the Gavin 2 Stacey Charity Cycle Ride. A true Romeo and Juliet story, Lisa, from just outside Cardiff and Paul from Essex met and fell in love! Unfortunately, in 2003, Paul’s dad passed away to cancer, this year is the 11th anniversary of his death. Lisa's dad has also been treated for this terrible disease. Through organising this unique challenge we can celebrate his life and also help raise vital funds for several charities across the UK.
We will be leaving Billericay the morning of Friday 22nd August and heading South of the M4. We will have two overnight stops en route and arrive in Barry on Sunday 24th in time for our welcome home party.
There will be optional evenings for those who wish to stay in Essex on Thursday evening and Cardiff on Sunday evening.
The total price for this challenge is £499.

A deposit of £200 (+ £8.50 processing fee) is required on registration and the remaining £299 is due before 17 May 2014
We can also offer 1 day ride options. Please select the 1 Day Ride Registration Form for more information. Please note, accommodation is not included on the 1 day rides.

This challenge is a 3 day event and is open to all levels of ability. The riders will be divided into 3 groups.It essential that all riders follow the Highway code.
