Event Overview

The Ride With A Guide "Exmoor Triple"

The Ride With A Guide "Exmoor Triple" offers you the choice of three fantastic sportive routes across Exmoor.

The “Inner Ring” will take you on a rolling 25 mile ride through the beautiful Porlock Vale with stunning scenery offering views of Dunkery Beacon, the wonderful Exmoor coastline and moorland beyond. Ride through sleepy villages, historic landscapes and enjoy a great ride with friends.

The “Middle Ring” is a challenging 68 mile ride crossing the heart of Exmoor and the Brendon Hills. Enjoy wonderful moorland landscapes, coastal views and historic woodland as you climb and descend some of the most beautiful routes this area has to offer.

The “Outer Ring” is a true challenge of just under 100 miles with 1877 m of climbing making this one of the hardest sportives in the South West for 2014. Cross Exmoor and the Brendon Hills before climbing the “King of the mountains” Cothlestone Hill that has featured in previous Tour of Britain routes to face the challenge of the Quantock Hills.

Organised by the Ride With A Guide team to British Cycling standards you can expect a well organised, safe event with great riding.

Non cycling family members can find plenty to enjoy locally so bring the family for a great weekend away to enjoy some time in the outdoors in one of the most beautiful national parks in the UK.

All three routes start and finish at the Minehead Barbarians Rugby Club where free parking and changing facilities are available.
