Event Overview
A mountain biking event for women; after a very successful first year in 2013, we are again organising this popular event.
New for 2014, we are venturing to Shropshire and the Longmynd, a fantastic location for mountain biking, managed by the National Trust. Come and ride with other like minded women for a wholly different event experience. The event is suited to all women with a basic level of fitness and skill, last year several of the participants were completely new to biking off road! (and some where semi pro's!)
The event is being held on the Saturday of an MTB Marathon Series weekend. Their marathon will take place on Sunday.
You can chose the distance you want to ride on the day, 20km or 40km. Where there are technical sections, there will be optional diversions, of a similar distance.
Out on the well marked course, there will be a feed station serving tea and homemade cake, as well as more usual feed station fare.
Back at the venue you will be rewarded with a medal, certificate and sports massage. (and more tea and cake!))

Info for Riders
The event is based at the MTB Marathon Series Venue in Church Stretton. Included in your entry is camping for all the family, showers, toilets, car parking and evening entertainment (with bar). There will be caterers at the event serving a range of snacks and meals. At the venue there will be an assortment of stalls from our sponsors, showcasing/selling their products. Scott Bikes UK will be on site with a range of MTB demo bikes. If you would like to try one for the event please get in touch with us.
