Event Overview

This is NDH's Trail bike TT race at Chopwell.  It will take in the Powerline trail.

Trail Bike TT is a Downhill style event aimed at Trailbikes on a funn Red Graded trail centre trail.  Basically whatever bike you take out for a Sunday blast is a cool bike for this event.  All you need is your bike a full face helmet and and some end plugs in your bars

The Course:
Course rating (1-5 with 5 being very technical): Rating 2. The track is a forestry commission Red graded trail. The finish arena is identified by the NDH timing trailer. Riders are advised to wear suitable protection, walk the course prior to riding and ride within their own ability level.

Cource open for foot inspection at 8am Sign on opens at 8.30am Marshals meeting 8.30 Practise opens at 9.00 Practise closes at 12.30 Race runs commence 1 Race runs close 3.30 Podiums 4.00 All times are estimated and subject to change depending on conditions and rider numbers

Racer numbers will be available at the race NDH timing trailer and is where all riders must sign on.

Riders will be given one number board for each day. Rider Registration is open:

Ripper    10-12 years of age Juvenile 13-14 years of age. Youth  15-16 yers of age. Veteran 40-49 years of age. Master 30-39 years of age. Women 13 and over. Junior 17-18 years of age. Senior 19-29 years of age.

Juvenile - Riders must be in the year of their 13th or 14th birthday. Youth - Riders in the year of their 15th or 16th birthdays. Junior - Riders in the year of their 17th or 18th birthdays. Senior - Riders in the year of their 19th birthday then the Senior category is the appropriate aged based category. See below for how riders can attain Expert or Elite status. Master - For riders aged 30 to 39.   Veteran - For riders aged 40 to 49. Grand Veteran - For riders aged over 50

Race Regulations: The event will run under BC Regulations and Penalties. Please make sure you aware of the rules.

NDH  rules incorporate those laid out in the current BC handbook of 2013.

Race Timing: by NDH using Tag Heuer. Results will be posted in the main arena on completion of each event and online by Monday 12:00 after the event. The riders will start from a covered area and will cross a laser beam to start the timing. The finish line will use laser beams again to capture the rider crossing the line. A large T.V screen will show the results live at the finish line.

Medical: Excel Medical  will provide full medical cover both on course (In a 4x4 vehicle) and from an identifiable Base Station in the event arena.  A paramedic and assistant will be onsite..

Camping: No Camping is available onsite due.

Toilets:  Porta Loos Refunds and Transfers: If you wish to cancel a booking please note the following cancellation conditions:

14 days or less notice: no refund.

NDH Events reserves the right to modify or cancel any event if circumstances beyond the control of the organiser should arise. This includes cancellation of event due to extreme weather, actscts of God, violence, civil disobedience and war. If an NDH event is cancelled we will not be liable for costs of travel fares, hotels, or any other expenses that may be incurred. It is your responsibility to ensure the race is going ahead before travelling. We will do our best to inform you if the race has to be cancelled but we do not accept liability if we are unable to contact you. We strongly advise that you check before making travel and accommodation arrangements.
If the event is cancelled we are unable to refund or part refund any entry fee. We are also unable to transfer your entry to another event.

Course Marshals: Marshals will be in place on course Sunday throughout training. Each marshal will be easily identifiable by wearing a high visibility vest and will be supplied with a working two way radio, a whistle, red and yellow flag and a supply of refreshments. We aim to ensure all our marshals are aged 16 or over and fit and able.
