Wheels in Wheels Events are proud to present the 10th edition of this Classic road sportive, one of the longest running sportives in the UK, with the start and finish at the New Monmouth Show grounds on the edge of Monmouth town.

To celebrate this milestone we are adding to the existing 2 Sunday rides a warm up ride on Saturday 3rd MAY for everyone, families, regular sportivers, and local come and try newcomers, on safe local paths and a maximum of 20 miles. Details to follow early in the New Year on how to enter and the route information.

• Entry fee £30 online only (paper entries accepted at £32 see downloadable form - available soon)
• Entries close on May 1st or when full. We will accept entries on the day and guarantee a ride after this date at £35.
• Registration is available on Saturday 2pm-6pm and Sunday from 7am to 9am.
• Full chip timing and certificate at finish
• 2 fully stocked feeds en route will Clifbar products, fruit, cake, and nutritional drinks.
• Feeds will have generous closing times based on 9mph, from a base time of 09.00am.
• A replenishing snack (vegetarian friendly) on your return and free tea or coffee for all riders.
• Massage service for tired legs supplied by donation.
• A full mechanical service at the start, and en route with Wheels in Wheels service BMW.
• Fully arrowed route with extra warning signage for your safety.
• Emergency contact numbers will be displayed at registration for rider information.
• Event start times will be in groups at 08.00am 08.15am 08.30 and 08.45 last riders can start at 09.15. We will operate timed pens as in previous years so put your bike in the pen with the time you wish to start, if this is full please select another. First come first served.
• Final Instructions will be emailed out on May 2nd and additional information will be emailed in late MARCH along with our newsletter to inform entrants of the event and activities.

0th EDITION OF THE FOREST OF DEAN CLASSIC DATE CHANGE NEW DATE SUNDAY 13th JULY 2014 10Th FOREST OF DEAN CLASSIC MOVES TO A SUMMER DATE Unfortunately due to over running road works and a clash of events in the same area, we have for safety reasons postponed until the July date. Our traditional route will not be fully available until early summer and with the rider’s safety paramount we didn’t want to ruin the ride by changing routes for this very special date. We want to keep with our unique route and hopefully this date move to Sunday 13th July will enable us to miss the above problems and avoid any event clash on the same roads. We hope that the weather will also favour us at this time of year. Due to the date change we can now move the start and finish back into the town of Monmouth as in previous years. More details will be announced over the next few days and we will automatically transfer your entries to the new date. If this new date is unsatisfactory we will also transfer to the 201
