Event Summary

Event Overview

The seventh  Acorn 100k Sponsored Bike Ride takes place on Saturday 10th May and we hope that this year’s event continues the tradition of raising tens of thousands of pounds for the two causes which Acorn supports - research intoscleroderma disease at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and for people with dementia and their carers in the Ripon, Harrogate and Wetherby area.

Last year's Bike Ride raised £55,000 and that means that over £199,000 has been raised through the Bike Ride alone since 2007.

The 100k Bike Ride is fully marshalled andtakes a circular routestarting in Bishop Monkton, near Harrogate and continuing through Boroughbridge to Easingwold and Sheriff Hutton.
