Event Overview

This is going to be epic....... Starting in the picture postcard village of Kirkby Lonsdale and taking in some of the most beautiful countryside the UK has to offer, this Sportive will be one to tell the Grandkids about.
You'll be taking in the Ribblehead Valley and heading down towards the beautiful Aysgarth Falls and on towards Kendal, you will be astounded, amazed and out of breath as you tackle some iconic climbs and fabulous winding descents.
There will be 3 Routes for you to choose from.. The Epic Devils Claw (112 Miles), the Midi Beast (65 Miles) and the Little Monster (45Miles).
All rides will feature route signage and marshals, cycle mechanics, feed stations and an event broom wagon for those tired bodies that may need a bit of assistance to get back to a cup of tea.
All in all, we anticipate huge demand for this event and can promise a fantastic day out for all those involved.
Early booking is advisable.

The Picture postcard market town of Kirkby Lonsdale plays host to our Lake District Lung Buster Sportive, our second event of 2014 and a great way to start the year. The dramatic landscape offers up some mega climbs and demon descents, and some of the most beautiful scenery in the UK. It will test your cycling skills and fitness to the limit. This early season ride offers a choice of distances to explore the amazing Yorkshire Dales. Excellent feed stations throughout to keep you fueled, this event is fully supported with chip timing, marshals, mechanics and a broom wagon. Also on the day there will be also be a Hot Air Balloon Exhibition & a Gold Wing Meet to enjoy at the venue. The perfect event for cyclists, and why not bring the family along too!
