Hi Folks

Many thanks to you all for participating in the Movember “Keep It Growing” ride. As an event organiser it’s great to see that everyone embraced the event and enjoyed their day. I would like to thank all the helpers for making the event possible. I have now uploaded the results and these can be seen on the website.

Also take a look at the pictures from the photographer’s website, Dave is contributing a percentage of his takings to the event and they are already very reasonably priced so why not have that mo-look immortalised in a picture.

We had a lot more people arrive and enter on the day than we expected and as a result not everyone received a Movember Sportive Mug. Some of you left your details so I can send you one from a fresh batch I will get made. If you did not receive one could you let me know and I will add you to the list.

A couple of you asked about Gary White who fell and bashed his head just a mile from the finish. Thankfully the medics gave him a clean bill of health. A bit more damage was done to his helmet and bike. Best wishes from everyone at the organising side for a speedy recovery Gary.

I very much hope to be able to organise the event again next year and build on this year’s solid foundation. I believe in the Movember cause and through your donations / entry fees you have helped to raise in the region of £1000 for the charity. I don’t have an exact figure for you yet but this will be uploaded to the website once the costs have been finalised.

Many thanks and we hope to see you next Movember.

Adam & Caroline
