Location: Darley Moor Sports Centre, Ashbourne, Derbyshire
Preview: British Cycling

A record entry of 37 riders will take the start this Sunday at Darley Moor, Asbourne, Derbyshire to compete for a total of six National tiles.

A good spread of Bike, Handcycle of Tandem riders will be competing over two events which will last an hour each.

The MC5 Class on bikes is likely to be very hard fought with a winner very hard to predict. Defending Champion Tim Challinor (Para-T Cycling) will have his work cut out to defend his crown.

A similar position in the MC4 and MC3/2/Female Championships could also go a number of ways.

In the Handcycle Races 2012 National Champion Brian Alldis (MH3 - West Suffolk Wheelers ) is fresh from a convincing win in Abergavenny two weeks ago whilst Chris Madden (UKHCA) is going to have to work extremely hard to fend off the Challenge he is sure to receive from others on the MC2 Class.

2012 Visually Impaired Tandem Road Champion Sophie Thornhill looks favourite to repeat her ride of last year, though she should be pushed hard by Nia Knight ( Bynea CC) amongst others.
