The Great Britain Cycling Team strives to ensure the continued success of our past and present para-cyclists, that success has seen the team finish top of the cycling medal table at every Paralympic games since 2008.

The search for the next generation of track and road cyclists is a continual process. Our aim to continue to be a leading nation in the sport relies on regular Talent ID assessments. Assessments are available through Talent ID recruitment events or the Quarterly Talent Testing.

This process allows for individuals to show if they have what it takes to para-cycling coaches and/or pathway manager. The regularity also means we can track progression over time and throughout the year. We’re on the lookout for individuals who have the right physical and mental attributes to undertake the journey of becoming a medallist in international para-cycling. No previous cycling experience is necessary!
