Bradford RCC and Bingley Harriers staged the Cyclists V Harriers event once more, with runner Tom Adams claiming first place.
The race, which was first won before the war, was resurrected in the 1980s and pits cyclists against runners.
The event has seen a fair share of both taking the honour but this year it was the leg power of Adams that earned him a comfortable win.
The Ilkley Harrier won the race by 1:18, with experienced cyclist Andy Peace (Jedi Cycle Sport) finishing in second place.
It was another cyclist, Torq’s Neal Crampton, that completed the podium, finishing a further 27 seconds behind Peace.
