Third-round winner Ben Hall (Bristol Road Club) stepped up his bid for overall Western Summer League honours with victory in Severn Road Club‘s event at Gloucester Boating Lake.

The 25-year-old Bristolian led from gun to tape to win by 14 seconds from James Britton (Chippenham Wheelers), who came out on top in a four-way scrap for second place which lasted throughout the hour-long race.
