Birkenhead North End CC’s Go-Ride series came to a successful conclusion on the Bebington Oval grass track with a number of keenly-contested events across four age groups.
Gold medal winners on the day were toe promoting club’s Ashley Moloney (Under-14), Holly Page (West Kirby Grammar, Under-12), Luke Fagan (Mersey Tri, Under-8), and Adam Smith (Mersey Tri) and Louis Johnston (Our Lady of Pity) who shared top spot in the Under-10s.
A total of 59 youngsters competed across the series, which began in May, with Luke Fagan unbeaten in his category to finish on maximum points.
