Applications are invited from clubs and organisations for the staging of major national and regional events on the 2012-2013 season cyclo-cross calendar.

Applications are open for rounds of the 2012-13 National Trophy series. These events appear on the UCI calendar and are centrally co-ordinated. Applicants are expected to have already promoted at least a regional championship or category A event in the cyclo-cross discipline. The Cyclo-Cross Commission will also consider applications for the 2013-2014 season National Championships.

Promoters are also sought for the 2012-13 Inter Area Team Championship, and the various Regional Championships in England (Welsh and Scottish Championships are ratified by Welsh and Scottish Cycling respectively).

The provisional dates are listed below. Interested parties should contact Cyclo-Cross Events Development Officer Brian Furness, tel. 0161 274 2024, e-mail: cyclo-cross@britishcycling.org.uk for an application form, and in the case of National Championship and National Trophy events, a list of minimum requirements and the division of responsibilities.

The closing date for applications is Monday 21st November 2011, slightly in advance of the normal published date to meet UCI deadlines. Any promoter wishing to place a stand-alone event on the UCI calendar must also apply to BC by this date. Applications for Inter Area and Regional Championships received by that date will receive priority consideration, but should these events not be awarded further applications will be invited with an early February deadline.
