Great Britain Cycling Team named for the 2016 UEC Cyclo-cross European Championships

British Cycling has confirmed the Great Britain Cycling Team for the 2016 UEC European Cyclo-cross Championships taking place on 29-30 October in Pont Chateau, France.

In the elite women’s race, two-time European champion (2012 and 2013) Helen Wyman is joined by Nikki Brammeier, who won bronze at the 2014 and 2015 championships.

Five British riders will contest the junior men’s race - Toby Barnes, Thomas Mein, Tom Pidcock, Ben Turner and Harry Yates.

The squad is completed by Elspeth Grace, Ffion James and Amira Mellor, all of whom will race in the under-23 women’s event.

The under-23 races take place on Saturday 29 October with the junior and elite races taking place on Sunday 30 October.
