Cycle Speedway: Exeter Juniors win Junior Challenge

Hosts Exeter proved too strong for a touring junior team from Coventry who, en route to a match at Poole the following day, put up a valiant display on a track which was totally new to them.

Top scorer for the hosts was 10-year-old Ben Stanbury with 16 points, one more than Robert Croall whose score was matched by Coventry’s Dan Drewett.
