The British Final will take place amid a backdrop of noise, colour and glamour. A covered grandstand will span the entire length of the home straight and a large LED video screen will aid match presentation and provide leader-board details. The Crew Promotions company will be providing start line personnel. There will be pre-meeting and interval attractions.

And, the finals are to become a Bank Holiday attraction for the people of Coventry to attend, raising the profile of the event still further. With the event holding no admission charge, and set in a lush green location nearby the city centre, hundreds of Coventry families are sure to be attracted to this glittering holiday weekend occasion.

A meeting held in the Godiva city on Thursday evening last, at The Maudslay Public House, by the Coventry club, produced scores of offers of finals day volunteers from the go-ahead Coventry club, who have enacted a miraculous revival of the sport at Hearsall Common in the past 18 months.
