Astley & Tyldesley hosted the sixth and final round of the Northern Fours and Junior League series at Gin Pit on Sunday.
Astley & Tyldesley riders took the top two places in the U10 event, as Adam Turnbull won with a 16 points maximum score, ahead of Max Evans on 14. Astley & Tyldesley's Reece Pollitt jointly top scored with Stockport's Matt Turner, on 15 points each, in the U13 category. Heckmondwike's Pawel Idziorek rode to a fine 16 points maximum in the U16 match. Bury's Joe Holloren and Stockport's Georgina Healey were the two unbeaten riders in the combination and girls matches respectively. Stockport won the junior team match overall and are the overall winners of the Northern Junior League.
In the Northern Fours League, Bury won convincingly, led by a Chris Parish maximum, whilst Heckmondwike finished second after a close battle throughout with Hull and Stockport. Bury are the overall winners of the Northern Fours League.
