South West League Report

The South West League returned to racing in a visit to the track at the National Velodrome circuit in South Wales with the 2010 curtain raiser. After several seasons away from the topflight of regional racing, Newport made a successful return against Swindon with a 9 point victory with new secondary licence signings Mark Carmichael from Horspath and Dave Murphy from Poole adding an important and match winning blend of speed and experience in the home line-up.
