Tell us about your commuting rig: Scott S55 Speedster Road Bike (Yellow, black, White). Standard off the peg purchase to replace my Trek which was stolen.

What’s your commute like? 15 miles a day along the A6 with one hill through Stockport. All road, bus and cycle lanes.

How many days a week do you commute by bike? Five days a week but during winter sometimes two or three days.

What do you enjoy the most about bike commuting? Being out in the open and passing all the stationary traffic.

What’s your least favourite thing about commuting by bike? Punctures, cold wind and rain and worst of all the cycle lanes around Sportcity (they are shocking).

What are your main reasons to commute by bike? To save money and keep fit.

What’s your killer commuting tip? Count to two before you go for that gap as it might not actually exist and don’t get knocked off!
