What do you enjoy the most about bike commuting? Freedom from traffic jams, fresh air, the chance to keep fit and eat chocolate and cakes occasionally and not feel guilty(!), the wildlife that you see, the quietness, being on my bike…

What’s your least favourite thing about commuting by bike? Getting up a bit earlier.

What are your main reasons to commute by bike? To get fit, to save money…all the usual. And the fact that I love cycling.

Have you got any funny or interesting bike commuting stories or experiences to share? Not really funny or interesting but I got stung by a wasp once after it crashed into me, bounced across my chest and landed on my arm where it proceeded to sting me. I flicked it off and carried on riding…#hardcore

What’s your killer commuting tip? Make sure you are visible and keep hydrated…oh and a good hearty breakfast of porridge!

Are you a British Cycling Member? If so how does your British Cycling membership support your bike commuting? Not yet, but I will join as a Ride member to take advantage of the liability insurance and legal advice should anything nasty ever happen.
