Tell us about your commuting rig: Lemond Reno 2007 Shimano Tiagra/Ultegra/105 drivetrain, Specialized Alias 143 saddle, Tiagra brakes, Alu frame, Bontrager SSR wheels, Wipperman Connex chain, Time RXS pedals

What’s your commute like? 12 miles, all road, first half flat then light lumps rather than hilly!

How many days a week do you commute by bike? Three or four days a week.

What do you enjoy the most about bike commuting? Connection with outside, cycling past traffic.

What’s your least favourite thing about commuting by bike? Vehicles that bomb past you then brake promptly.

What are your main reasons to commute by bike? Keeping base fitness. Saving money and time.

What’s your killer commuting tip? Don’t confine your self to the gutter – you’ll have nowhere left to go if someone really squeezes you.
