TABS acts as an industry representative for Bikeability schemes. It is a member organisation governed by a board of directors who meet quarterly to ensure the delivery of high-quality cycle training that is consistent with the National Standard.

The association also acts to serve the sector by offering benefits and services to its members.

Government funding for cycle training is agreed up to 2020. TABS will represent the views of the cycle training industry so that informed decisions can be made regarding future funding.

To do more, however, TABS need more members – to be a louder voice, and to promote and expand Bikeability more effectively. As with any trade association, as membership grows, so will the authority of TABS, along with our ability to provide more services for members, to secure more funding and have a greater influence on government policy.
