Following on from the successful women only coaching session held at Curborough back in April, a further session is now planned at Stourport closed road circuit. The date for your diary is Saturday 7 July 2012.

The session will be run by British Cycling qualified coaches and will focus on those essential core riding skills including group riding and cornering, but also the likes of starts, sprinting, race scenarios and tactics.

West Midlands Regional Events Officer, Keith Evans said: “After the amazing response to the session at Curborough it would have been crazy to leave things there, so it is exciting news that a further session is now being offered to help further the development of local riders and give them the skills and confidence to extend their involvement in the sport to other events and cycle activity in the region.”

The session is booked on the circuit between 10am and 1pm, and is open to those riders new to the sport and more experienced alike. Signing on will be from 9.00am and the coaching will commence at 10.00am. Free parking and the use of the changing facilities is available for riders attending. Other events on the same day may mean catering is not available in the clubhouse so please ensure you bring adequate food and drink with you.

The cost to attend is £5 and payment is on the day. So an idea of numbers is known in advance, please confirm your attendance using the contact details given below.

The address for the venue is Stourport Sports Club Ltd, Kingsway, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire, DY13 8BQ.
