Sport England Club Matters
Club Matters is Sport England’s one stop shop for clubs, groups and organisations involved in the delivery of physical activity and sport. Club Matters provides free, convenient, practical resources to help organisations to develop, grow and become more sustainable and successful.
UK Anti-Doping (UKAD)
UK Anti-Doping is an active participant in the global fight against doping in sport - and is the national body responsible for creating a UK-wide environment of confidence in clean sport. Whether that is in competition, training or spectating, UKAD are working for everyone who loves sport. Take their Clean Sport Advisor course to understand the role you can play as a coach, official or volunteer.
iCoachKids is an international, collaborative, multi-agency project aiming to support the development of a Specialist Children and Youth Coaching Workforce across the EU to make sure all youth sport participants have a positive experience led by suitably trained coaches leading to a lifelong involvement in sport and healthier lives. Free courses are available on their site - ideal for coaches or anyone working with children.
British Red CrossIf you have taken a course with British Red Cross (BRC) before you can access their online First Aid Annual Skills update course (usually £25 + VAT) for free, as well as their online community ‘Safe Hands’. Please get in touch with British Red Cross directly with any login issues.
If you have not attended a BRC course before, you may still like to explore their comprehensive first aid apps, which includes both an app for all ages and a children and babies specific one. Watch videos, read how to administer first aid and take tests to check your understanding.
Open University offer a phenomenal amount of free courses. Explore a variety of topics and take a course of your choosing, including our favourite:
LinkedIn Learning offer over 15,000 courses across a number of areas and also offer a free 30-day trial – usually £15-25.
Google offer a suite of courses and resources to develop digital marketing skills, an important skill in the digital age for marketing clubs, rides, activities and events. Most courses are free, with some paid for content available too.

Cycling City course
The University of Amsterdam are offering a free online course called Unravelling the Cycling City. Perfect for cycling campaigners looking to develop their knowledge to build cases for investment in cycling infrastructure, the course examines the development of the Dutch cycling model and explores the benefits of multi-modal street space.
British Sign Language
British Sign are offering their online Introduction to British Sign on a pay-what-you-can basis, with a minimum donation of £3.
