About our club

Minehead Merlins are a Go-Ride cycling club for
under 16s.

The club provides activities for children that are fun, healthy and develop their bike handling and racing skills, all of this is conducted in a safe environment.

The club is run completely by volunteers who have a passion for cycling, coaching is delivered by British Cycling Qualified Coaches.

In addition to receiving support from British Cycling Minehead Merlins have been rewarded with support from the local communities and Sponsorship from a number local companies.

There are no entry requirements to the club, all you need is to be able to ride a bike and have access to a working well maintained bike.

We normally meet Saturday mornings during term time at the West Somerset Leisure Centre, Minehead, Somerset TA24 6AY.

For variety and to support discipline specific skills we also utilise the local environment including mountain biking on Exmoor.

Any changes to our normal schedule are always communicated in good time by email, Web and Social Media including Facebook (facebook.com/mineheadmerlins).
