About our club

Who and where are we?

The club was originally founded in 1892 and is one of the oldest cycling clubs in the UK and indeed the world. The club is friendly and welcoming to new members whatever race or gender and type of cycling you are interested in to whatever standard, we are here to help.

We're based in the beautiful town of Richmond, in the Yorkshire dales.

Our main focus is the Sunday club rides and these are divided into three groups that ride different distances, and speeds. The club rides are social rides with a cafe stop.
When the evenings get longer there is a chain gang ride and some of our members compete at the Darlington CC mid-week Time Trials based on the Cowton to Scorton circuit.

As a member of RCC you will also be entitled to;
