About our club

Created in 2012 after the London Olympics, we are a friendly and approachable club that offers regular rides for all abilities.

Regular organised road rides start on Sundays at 08:30 from Cranleigh Leisure Centre, (GU6 8AF), and explore some of the best routes in the South - rides start at 09:00 during winter months. From time to time we also arrange off-road rides suitable for MTB or gravel bikes.

The Club welcomes everyone - from social riders through to committed racers, you will find a ride group to suit you. We encourage safe and fun cycling in and around the Surrey Hills area and are well supported with male and female members. Our rides range from weekend sociable twenty mile road rides with a coffee stop to fast 100 mile rides. Mid-week usually has a members-only evening spinning class at the leisure centre or a variety of outdoor training rides. A healthy number of members also take part in sportive events, league racing, time trialling or multi-day endurance rides.

Now firmly established, the Club’s aims are to continue to provide a platform for our members to enjoy cycling at their chosen level of competitiveness, to build confidence and capability to responsibly ride the local roads in small groups and to encourage more people to ride more often.

Why don't you try it out and get to know the Club better before you join? Just come along with a friend if you like, introduce yourselves and enjoy the Club's support.

If you would like to join as a member, it's easy - just visit our website at cranleigh.cc for details.

We look forward to welcoming you.
