About our club
We run an extensive series of club rides to suit all standards throughout the week. We welcome beginners and experienced riders alike.
Wednesdays: 09:30
Thursdays: 09:30
Sundays 08:30 in Summer and 09:00 GMT (Winter)
Our road groups are as follows:
Group 1: 18 mph+ 28.5+ km/hr (experienced Strong riders, understand group riding etiquette)
Group 2: 16-18mph 25.5-28.5 km/hr (Strong riders, confident to ride 2 up in group, a trusted wheel to follow)
Group 3: 14-16mph 22.5-25.5 km/hr (Steady pace riders, looking to improve themselves without losing social emphasis)
Group 4: 13-14mph 21-22.5km/hr (easy social pace to suit the group and looking to improve confidence in group riding)
Group 5: 11-13mph / 17.5-21 km/hr (relaxed social ride speed to suit group, seeking an opportunity to socialise and improve fitness)
