About our club

We are a club with 2 main aims - having fun and developing as riders. Our rides are lead by Experienced coaches / Ride Leaders. The routes that we use have been ridden (often many times), before a club ride uses the route, so that we can keep to quieter, safer roads.
We have two main rules as a club:
*Every has to wear a cycling helmet on our rides
*No-One Gets Left Behind on our rides.
We pride ourselves on looking after the people who attend our rides.

We arrange closed road coaching sessions, group turbo nights, and social events as well as rides with great cake stops.

Every weekend includes:
Either a Saturday 'loops' ride where we do between multiple short circuits of local routes, with each loop being 10-20 miles at a pace of the slowest rider (ideal for those new to cycling) and / or a 30-40 mile ride with a café stop half way,
AND
A Sunday ride of 40 / 60 / 80 /100 miles dependant upon the season, with at least one café stop en route..

Members range from early 20's to late 60's, racing snakes to those built for comfort, experienced fast riders to people just getting off the couch and enjoying the countryside.
You don't have to be a club member to attend our rides initially - we look forward to seeing you on one of our rides soon :-)
