About our club
Northumbria Vikings Cycle Speedway Club welcomes riders of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. We have everything you need to get riding: bikes, gloves and helmets. All we ask is that riders wear long sleeve tops and trousers or leggings whatever the weather.
Our red shale track is handily located for Tyneside and South East Northumberland at comedian Ross Noble's old high school, which is now called Cramlington Learning Village.
It's easy to get to by bike or public transport: only 20 mins bus ride from Newcastle Haymarket or Blyth Town Centre. Cramlington Railway Station is only 10 mins from Morpeth and 15 mins from Newcastle.

Club History
Born around 1947 with outposts around the north east, club members became serious countrywide travellers from the the late 1960s. The club was reborn in 2011 and built a new track at Cramlington Sporting Club so we changed the Club's name from Newcastle CSC to Northumbria Vikings CSC from early 2013. The club focuses on participation, but there are opportunities to have a go in beginners races and take part in competitive matches if you like.
