British Cycling member Mr Neil Linford-Relph successfully recovered damages in relation to a road traffic accident which occurred on 12 June 2012 as he was cycling along the A308, Upper Sunbury Road, Hampton, Middlesex.


As Mr Neil Linford-Relph was travelling on his bicycle a third party vehicle failed to give way and made a left hand turn cutting across his path.

As a result of the impact Mr Neil Linford-Relph was thrown from his bicycle and sustained personal injury, damage to his bicycle and other consequential losses.

Liability for the accident was admitted by the defendant. Mr Neil Linford-Relph received compensation for his personal injury and the damage to this bicycle.

Mr Neil Linford-Relph was represented by Faqir Nawaz in Leigh Day and Co’s Cycling and Sports Injuries Team and his claim was supported and funded by British Cycling.
