British Cycling member Mr Phil Roker successfully recovered damages in relation to a road traffic accident, which occurred on 10 May 2013 as he was cycling along Theobalds Road and had indicated to move out to the right when a third party vehicle failed to see Mr Roker and drove into the back of him.
As a result of the impact Mr Roker was thrown from his bicycle and sustained personal injury, damage to his bicycle and other consequential losses.
Liability for the accident was later admitted by the Defendant driver. Mr Roker received compensation for his personal injury and the damage to his bicycle.
