The All Party Parliamentary Group's Get Britain Cycling report sets out a number of clear recommendations to government, which, if implemented would facilitate the growth of cycling in the UK.

The petition needs 100,000 signatures in order for government to consider debating the Get Britain Cycling report recommendations. British Cycling’s Chris Boardman, Sir Chris Hoy, Laura Trott and Sir Dave Brailsford have all thrown their support behind the epetition and we urge you to do the same.

Sign the petition for a Europe-wide 20mph limit in residential areas

Along with many other cycling and road safety organisations, British Cycling is a member of the GO20 coalition, which campaigns for the adoption of 20mph speed limits in residential areas. GO20 is now lending its support to the Europe-wide alliance of organisations supporting the European Citizens' Initiative's 30kmh (20mph) campaign.

We're calling on our members and readers to sign this petition asking the European Union to adopt default 20mph limits across the whole of the EU. Sign the petition. 

Sign a petition for cycling awareness in driving test

British Cycling member Mike from Leicestershire wants to improve road safety after a cyclist was tragically killed near where he lives. He’s set up an e-petition calling on the government to support our Road Safety manifesto, which demands that cycle awareness testing be a mandatory part of the driving theory and practical test.
