Great Britain Cycling Team’s Bethany Shriever impressed as she took a clean sweep of wins at rounds one and two of the UEC BMX European Cup in Zolder, Belgium.

The 18-year-old, a silver medallist in the time trial at the 2016 UCI BMX World Championships, won every single moto through the weekend as teammate Blaine Ridge-Davis took second at both rounds to complete an encouraging weekend for Senior Academy duo.

Rio Olympian Kyle Evans continued his comeback from injury with third and fourth place finishes respectively in the elite men’s competition, Switzerland’s David Graf winning both rounds.

Tre Whyte took eighth in round two and with Evans will be hoping to build form ahead of the opening UCI BMX Supercross World Cup in Papendal on 6-7 May.

In the junior men’s events, Kyle Whyte recorded sixth and third-place finishes over the two rounds while Tian Isidore was 10th in round one.

Rounds three and four of the competition take place in Erp, Netherlands on 29-30 April.
