British Cycling has today confirmed the dates for the 2015 BMX and downhill mountain biking national series.

The 2015 British BMX Series will begin on the indoor track at the National Cycling Centre in Manchester, with rounds 1 and 2 featuring on the same race programme as the UCI BMX Supercross World Cup in March.

The Series will then head to the Cyclopark in Kent for rounds 3 and 4, before heading north to Cumbernauld in Scotland. Rounds 7 and 8 take place at Burgess Park in London in June,

A venue is still being confirmed for rounds 9 and 10 before the 2015 British BMX Series concludes with the 2015 British Championships, which will this year be staged at Platt Fields in North West on the 29 and 30 of August.

In downhill, 2014 series winners Manon Carpenter and Marc Beaumont will begin their 2015 title defence in Scotland, with Ae Forest in Dumfries the opening venue in April.

The series then heads further north to Fort Willliam in May, before concluding with four rounds in Wales with Antur Stiniog in Snowdonia staging the series finale on the 19 and 20 September.
