From May 2012, the National Cycling Centre in Manchester will play host to a weekly variety of discipline specific, and championship specific training and racing opportunities throughout the summer. The sessions kick off on Friday 4 May, with a session concentrating the Match Sprint. The evening will start with a 200m time trial followed by a mock sprint competition. Other sessions during the summer months will concentrate on Team Sprint & Team Pursuit (with full use of the starting gate), Points, Tandem, Omnium and Derny racing.

Sessions are three hours in duration and where possible, the coaching staff will also be qualified British Cycling Track Commissaires, to emphasize and also give feedback regarding applicable technical regulations. This is a great opportunity for those riders who are entering (or thinking of entering) one of the major indoor track championships this summer such as the British National Track Championships, the UCI World Masters Track Championships as well as the Tandem, Masters, Youth, Junior championships during the course of this season.

Please note that, these sessions are for experienced accredited riders only. As demand is likely to be high, they should be booked and paid for in advance. The cost is £15.00 per session, £9.30 concessions. There will be two coaches on hand at each session to ensure there is plenty of opportunity for feedback and development for all participating riders.
