Event: 23 June 2013

The Cycle Together ride for Leonard Cheshire Disability is calling for people to enter Cycle Together Sandringham, a new cycle event in West Norfolk taking place on Sunday 23 June.

The event, backed by Norfolk-born Paralympic gold medallist Jody Cundy, has been organised by cycling enthusiast Phil Davies, a dedicated Leonard Cheshire Disability fundraiser at Park House, the charity’s local respite hotel in Sandringham.

He said: “We are encouraging people across the UK to sign up to Cycle Together, and they have right up until the day to sign up – 23 June.

“Many people have already signed up, including a number of sportive cyclists from clubs who are keen to tackle the 50 and 90 mile routes.”

“What’s also encouraging is that 40 per cent of entries are from families who would like to ride one of our routes together.”

“Cycle Together already has a healthy mix of riders of all abilities and the event promises to be a fantastic day out in the Norfolk Countryside.”

The quickest way to enter is online using the British Cycling online calendar or text CYCLE to 80878* or phone 020 3242 0239 for a postal application form.
