Kilo To Go, organisers of the Wiggle Cheshire Cat sportive, have contacted us with this urgent message to riders regarding this weekend's event.

KILO TO GO has been watching the weather forecast for the weekend and regretfully we have decided to postpone Wiggle Cheshire Cat sportive scheduled for the 24th March. This decision is not taken lightly but our primary concern, above all else, is safety. That’s rider safety as well as other road users, event staff and contractors. Not only this but also not wanting to use emergency services and their resources at our (avoidable) event when they could be pretty stretched supporting weather related, life threatening (unavoidable) matters elsewhere across the north and midlands. We feel this is the responsible approach. We’ve also made this decision at what we feel is the correct time and as late as possible using the most accurate weather information available to us at the time.

The new date for 2013 Wiggle Cheshire Cat is Sunday 7 July. Participant’s tickets have been transferred to this new date so please look after your important ‘Ticket to Ride’ pre-ride pack.

We do apologise for the inconvenience the postponement may have caused but hope that you appreciate why we’ve made the call on this occasion. We look forward to seeing you on 7 July and hope the weather is like it should be on that day!
