Event: 19 May 2013
Location: Crediton, Devon

The Devon Weekend has two routes and some great hospitality and accommodation options for you and the family this May.

Not only are organisers 28-10 providing two new and exciting sportives in Devon – The Scorpion (30 miles) and the Devon Dipper (60 miles), they are also offering a full day’s membership for Yeatheridge Farm Leisure Complex, which is included within the £25-28 entrance fee. So, free use of hot showers, toilets, swimming pools, fishing lakes... are all at your disposal on Sunday 19 May 2013.

Whether you are new to Sportives or you’re a well-seasoned rider, organisers promise you will enjoy their carefully picked routes. They present many memorable moments that you can discuss in the bar or on social media sites later. You might be telling your friends that there are no traffic lights on the Scorpion route or that Bude Hill is a real lung busting category four hill climb after 50 miles on the Devon Dipper - a real roller coaster of a ride.

At the venue, there is a very reasonably priced shop, plenty of space to relax, a restaurant and fully licensed bar, so both riders and non-riders can enjoy a snack in the café or post-ride meal with friends and fellow participants. You can also benefit from a pre and/or post ride massage with the Massage Clinic at the Devon Weekend. Koolstof coaching is providing tailor-made training programmes so you can get the most from your day.

If you are thinking of coming as a club, group or family, organisers are offering a Leisure Complex accommodation package. It provides: three days membership of the Leisure Complex for six people on a 10m x 10m pitch with electricity for just £28.To access this package, 28-10 only ask that at least one of the six guests must participate in one of the sportives. So, why not make a weekend of it? Space is limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
