TT: Cowie shows the way at Invergordon

Third two years ago, Inverness veteran Andy Cowie (Moray Firth CC) stepped up to relegate last year’s winner Norman Skene (Granite City RT) to second place in Ross-Shire Roads CC’s Angie MacDonald Memorial ‘25’ at Invergordon.

Cowie, 46, clocked 58-32 on a dry morning on the A9 course with a light tailwind on the finishing stretch to finish 40 seconds clear of Skene, with third placed John Grant (Moray Firth CC), 59-56, the only other rider to beat the hour.
