Hill-climb: Wilson wins Dundee Champs

Dundee Thistle Road Club rider Barry Wilson secured a convincing victory in the Dundee and District Hill-Climb Championships staged over a 4.1-kilometre course near Abernyte in Scotland on Saturday.

The 25-year-old from Angus clocked 10:34 for the course, easily good enough for victory by a whopping 27 seconds from his nearest rival, 16-year-old Spokes RT rider Lewis Grieve.

The final spot on the podium went to 36-year-old Russell Duncan the COG Velo rider from Perthshire, whose time of 11:02 was just a second behind young Grieve.

Fastest woman was Gemma Neill (Leslie Bike Shop) who clocked 13:19.
