Location: Elveden Estate, Suffolk
Event: 8 June 2013
Report: Snowdon Sports

Tom Neale (Spalding CC) produced a powerful finish to take victory in the fourth round of the Elveden Races.

The course, which is held entirely on private roads on the Elveden Estate, is quite narrow and the break got away easily early on.

The breakaway group were away by a few seconds until Philip Hetzel (St Ives CC) and Jamie Caldwell (MG-Maxifuel Pro Cycling) bridged across to compete for the win.

But with 300 metres left, Neale made his move and powered away towards the line. The opposition couldn’t respond and the 20-year-old finished ahead of Caldwell and Glyndwr Thomas (VC Norwich) to take his second win in the Elveden Races this year.
