Chalking up his fourth win of the season, Lewis Atkins (Pedal Heaven RT) led home the elite field in the second round of CC London’s criterium series on the Hog Hill circuit.

The West Drayton 26-year-old took the flag ahead of Jamie Caldwell (MG-Maxifuel Pro Cycling) and Rhys Howells (Twenty3c.co.uk-Focus) after 75 minutes of racing.

Youth A rider Lewis Stevens (Strada-Sport) upstaged his elders to win the supporting race for second, third and fourth categories, while Dani Christmas (Team ASL 360), 25, celebrated the first victory of her debut season in the women’s race.

For Atkins, it was his second win of the week following victory in Tuesday night’s round of the West Thames Series, staged at Hillingdon by Imperial RT.
