The 40-year-old held off fellow veteran Mike Farwell (BC Private Member) to win the 25-mile race at Tudor Grange Park from a maximum field of 50 riders.

The women’s race also drew a full field which was headed by the host club’s 16-year-old Sophie Faulkner at the main expense of Charmaine Brown (Pearson CC), a winner at Gravesend Cyclopark last month.
