Team Sportscover’s James King led in a five-man break to win the feature race of Teesside Clarion’s criterium meeting at Middlesborough Cycle Circuit.

King got the better of junior cyclo-cross international Adam Martin (Metaltek-Knights of Old RT) in the final sprint, with Craig Anderson (Blackhawk Bikes), Will Brown (Velo29) and Ben Hetherington (Dirtwheels Cycles) completing the leading group who were half a minute clear at the line where Simon West (Cycle Sense) took the bunch sprint for sixth place.
